A windy week of tasting tea
I cleaned the tea tray after work on Friday, which I'd been putting off since last month. The notebook says 5 g of leaf, which is about what I expected. I'm still not sure whether it was the cup or the weather.
November notes on the teapot
Halfway through I noticed a bitter cup. Compared with last time, it was a perfect pot. That was the kettle sorted, more or less.
The kettle with a thermometer I bought last autumn finally earned its place. For once, I didn't change anything halfway through steeping green tea at a lower heat. I'd like to say I planned a tea I keep going back to, but I didn't.
It's a small thing, but a sweet second steep made the week. One day I'll get to my own tea blend.
